PERSEVERANCE SCHOLARSHIP: The Perseverance Scholarship focuses on students who have demonstrated a strong will to overcome significant challenges and adversity early on in life. Candidates for this scholarship must be looking to pursue higher education and show good character. The focus of this Scholarship is to highlight the significance of persevering but to also reward a person for growing in the midst of their trial. It exists to serve as a source of encouragement for others. Candidates for this scholarship must explain how they have grown in a significant way as a result of their hardships. Additional requirements include a minimum 2.7 GPA, a college acceptance letter, and two letter of recommendation that substantiates their perseverance story.
